“Abefe is a love song. It is about how a man loves his wife and won’t stop telling her not to listen to men who want to snatch her from his man. It is a very interesting song that delivers creative character,” 9ice.
Aside Abefe, the Alapomeji label boss is also preparing to shoot the video of his other new song, “Faji” and has begun auditioning for dancers who will feature in the video, even as he released videos for Ogara and Sugar. The videos were shot in South Africa and were directed by Alexander The Great.
The forthcoming effort is the fifth single from the “Gongo Aso” crooner and he is working on his seventh album. He had earlier released singles such as “Sugar”, “Familete”, produced by ID Cabasa and “Lord’s Prayer”, which was produced by Puffy T.
