Shun frivolities, seek knowledge, Lagbaja tells colleagues

Popular Nigerian masked-musician, Lagbaja, has come hard on his colleagues in the showbiz industry, saying they prefer to show off than to seek for knowledge.

Lagbaja, who was one of the panels at the just held lecture themed: "Intellectual Property Rights In The Digital Economy"  organised by the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) in celebration of the COSON Week, which took place on Monday at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos State, stated that entertainers do not like to gain more knowledge on things that are beneficial to their careers, but are always interest in red carpets, where they show off their fashion items as well as craving for fame.

“My colleagues in the industry who need this knowledge are not here, but will show up for the  gala night and award ceremony event billed to hold on Friday, which they feel is more important. Lagbaja is happening today, because I learnt to take care of the business side. I urge everyone to collectively support this mission in fighting for our rights. COSON and NCC have done their parts. We stakeholders in the industry should present our opinion and join the bodies to fight this together, because it has to do with our intellectual rights," Lagbaja told Sky Entertainment.
