Family, associates call for prayers over Halima’s health

Family and close associates of popular actress, Halima Abubakar, have urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the actress as information revealed that she is yet to come back to full fitness following a fibroid surgery she had in India sometime back.


It was also gathered that the actress who has been off the radar for months is currently being treated in a Lagos hospital of what is said to be another complications arising from fibroid as those close to her revealed that she needed prayers to put her life back in ‘shape’.
Halima, a couple of months back, shared details of a successful fibroid surgery she had in India. She was said to have been getting better and had to share the good news in a bid to encourage other people.

Shortly after then, the actress was said to have suffered a relapse and had to be taken back to the hospital where she was said to have been receiving treatment.

Days back, her close friend, Tonto Dikeh, confirmed that Halima was ill revealing that she had gone to the hospital to pick her up in order to personally take care of her. Dikeh, who shared the recent picture of Halima called for prayers for her friend and described her as one of the strongest women she knows.
A statement released by Halimah’s brother on Thursday stated that “On behalf of our big sister, we want to thank everyone who called, commented and prayed for her. We all are grateful. And to (Tonto Dikeh) for being a good friend and for always being there.
And to her mentor and guardian, wife of Kogi State governor, Rashida Yahaya Bello for being an example of love, and kindness towards our sister who had complications from fibroid. We love and pray for God to keep uplifting you for all you do for every one. For being a mother to our sister. Your kindness will never go in vain.”
