The sixth edition of the concert, Delta Yadah, has held in Asaba as gospel musicians came to lead in intimate worship to a big crowd.
The event centre was already filled up before it started at 8pm.
Anchored by Firstborn, the convener, Pat Uwaje-King stated that Delta Yadah had gained momentum and was now six years, trusting that a moment of change had begun with the new governor, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
The governor was represented by the Commissioner of Commerce, Barrister (Mrs) Mary Eyasire.
The praise night had Bob Fitts and his wife, Kathy Fitts; reggae singer, Buchi, Nosa, Empraiz, Paul Nams, Chioma Jesus, Freke Umoh and Mike Abdul in attendance. They all inspired the audience with good music.
Bob Fitts, who mounted the stage around 1.10 am to dish his popular hit songs, said “we stand with you in Nigeria. The work God is doing in Nigeria is massive. We pray for God’s mighty deliverance in the land,” he said.
One of the thrilling moments was the performance of Doris Dumah, younger sister of Pat King, as well as the fun and flavour added to the event by SACO and Kenny Abdul with their jokes.
The overflow was filled up as youths and Asaba indigenes gathered to witness a time of worship.
