Foremost Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade and top American hip-hop group, Cameo will lead a pack of first-class music stars to perform at this year’s Ovation Carols sponsored by Globacom.
Cameo, an evergreen musical band sang the monstrous global hit, ‘Attack me with your love’ in the early 80s. The band has been confirmed as the headline act at the Carols organised by the publishers of Ovation Magazine.
The American pop orchestra will re-enact its popular tunes like “Cameosis”, “Thank God it’s Friday”, “Attack Me With Your Love”, “Real Men… Wear Black” and numerous others from its arsenal of unforgettable hits.
Aside KSA and Cameo, other music celebrities lined up for the event are the trio of Globacom brand ambassadors, Nabaniacrooner, Flavour; Katapot exponent, Reekado Banks and God win creator, Korede Bello and sensational saxophonist, Olu Jazz.
Nollywood living legend, Richard Mofe-Damijo and delectable Dala Oruwari of Ovation TV will anchor the carols.
Globacom which also sponsored the 2015 carols assured that Nigerians would not forget the 2016 Ovation Carol in a hurry going by the “eclectic blend of carols, pop, rock and blues, electro and hip-hop that would kick start the yuletide celebrations.”

The Ovation Carols brand custodians will equally employ the occasion to further celebrate the king of juju music, KSA, who recently clocked 70.
