'Sons of Music Legends, Season 2’ beckons

Following the success of the first edition of the ‘Sons of Music Legends’, the organisers of the historic event, Super Star Leketex (SSL), entertainment company, has revealed that plans to hit the ground running for the second edition tagged: “Sons of the Music Legends; Season Two” billed to hold in few months time have gathered momentum.

According to the organisers, the event is meant to celebrate legendary works, which have been promoting the rich culture and traditions of Nigeria across the world, as well as to honour both dead and living legends who made  the industry and the country proud through their talents.

Part of this year’s event is the inclusion of some sons of international music legends, like Romeo, Ziggy Marley, among others.

The Kutis—Femi and Seun;  Tolu Obey, Dare Art Alade, Barry Showkey, Big Sheff, Paul Play, Musiliu Haruna—Ishola, Daisi Orlando, among other sons of Nigeria’s music legends are also billed to perform at the event.

Movie producers, Kunle Afolayan, whose father is also a legend in the movie world, will be the host, and will be assisted by popular actress, Funke Akindele. Popular comedians, such as Basketmouth, Seyi Law and Akpororo will also add flavour to the event, while living legends are special guests of the event.

The event, which has begun to get the attention  of sponsors from private and corporate bodies,  is also expected to be graced by net worth individuals, especially, those that grew up with the legends music as well as their fans who are now captains of industries.
