Gov Ajimobi appoints K1 as Geely Car ambassador

Music legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1, has been appointed as an ambassador of Geely Car.

The appointment was made by the Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Geely car which is an inititive of the governor will be manufactured and assembled in Ibadan, Oyo state capital is billed to be launched in the third quarter of 2016. Meanwhile, a sample of Geely car has already been manufactured.

Speaking on the development the leading Fuji act who expressed his delight over the appointment said it was 'a well deserved honour'. 

On another development, K1's publicist, Esther Akinwande confirmed the forthcoming album of K1entitled "Let the Music Flow" has been completed after several months of preparation. 

"Like his past albums, ‘Let the Music Flow,’ promises to capture the ears of the youth and older generations," she added. 
Meanwhile, one of the songs Royals – Ijoye’ officially leaked from the studio and available to us, is  avant-garde, and K1,  once again, pushes the boundaries of Fuji music, now  into the deep cultural realm with his panegyric of eminent monarchs in Yorubaland- Oba of Lagos, Alake of Egbaland, Awujale of Ijebuland, Olubadan of Ibadan, Alaafia of Oyo and Ooni of Ife.
