Popular veteran actor, Olumide Bakare, has called on Nigerians and concerned citizens for prayers and financial assistance to save his life from untimely death.
The versatile thespian, who is currently between life and death at the intensive care unit of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan is suffering from heart and lungs disease.
According to the information gathered, Bakare, who is aware of his state of health has sent his fortune to fight it alone, but it seems the sickness relapse recently which is beyond what he could handle.
Information also had it that the Ibadan-based actor was fine and has been attending a popular CAC church regularly until recently missing in the church's activities.
Bakare has eventually pleaded with well-meaning Nigerians to come to his aid to save his life as well as accomplished his dreams.
He faintly begged people on his sick bed saying "agbara mi o ka mo o, ba mi be a won Omo Nigeria ki won ran mi lowo pelu owo ati adura, " he told a cable TV broadcaster, Jide Moronfolu.
