Nollywood Actor, Femi Adebayo bags political appointment in Kwara

Popular actor, Femi Adebayo is the latest celeb turned political appointee, just as he joined the league of Nollywood celebs that have ventured into politics through one appointment or the other. He was named the Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.

Adebayo, the son of veteran actor Adebayo Salami, a.k.a Oga Bello who got the appointment on Monday, took to his Instagram page few hours ago to share the good news with his fans.

He wrote: "Today I was appointed as Special Assistant (SA) to the Kwara State Governor, on Arts, Culture and Tourism. Thank God  for an opportunity to transform my State into a foremost tourist State that will attract foreign and domestic tourists. My fans I need your support. Leave me not."


The 43 year-old actor, director and producer is a trained lawyer. He is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in service to his home state, Kwara.
