KSA finally floats new radio station

Music legend Chief Sunday Adegeye popularly known as  King Sunny Ade (KSA) has finally floated a radio station in his hometown, Ondo State, which would be operating by the name M&C 106.5FM.

Speaking at the official opening of the station, the state governor Dr Segun Mimiko advised the management of the station to work together as one entity for the benefit of Ondo people.
According to KSA, the  motive behind the radio station was to promote and add value to the reach culture and tradition of Ondo State and Nigeria at large, adding that "I am also committed to also use this medium to give back to the society, especially my people. It is to promote music and culture. I am sure that it will achieve its aim because it will be handled by experts and professionals."
   
Sunny Ade's station joins the likes of Adaba 88.9 FM (Akure), FUTA Radio 93.10 (Akure/FUTA), OSRC 96.5FM(Akure), and FRCN Ibadan Positive FM (102.50) (Akure) in occupying the airwaves and keeping  the company of listeners in the state.
