Ailing actor, Elder Maya gets N1 million

Critically ill Nollywood actor, Martins Njubuigbo, otherwise known as Elder Maya, whose failing health was revealed to the public for an urgent assistance has finally received succor from a concerned citizen, a popular Abuja-based cleric, Prophet Joshua Iginla.


The veteran actor, who has been down with a liver-related ailment, had solicited for funds from the public to help pay for his surgery.

In his bid to make his birthday celebration, held last Sunday memorable, Iginla, reportedly gave out  N1 million to Elder Maya for his medical bills as well as doled out cars to six Nollywood actors among others.

The beneficiaries of the philanthropic gestures include: Jide Kosoko, Alex Usifo, Thelma Nwosu and Papi Luwe.
