Lil Kesh drops new album, buys self brand new car

Since the beginning of the year, YBNL act, Lil Kesh, has continued to be in the news. After the drama that unfolded at Headies award in January, Kesh’s popularity has soared, especially among his fans who believed that he deserved to have won the Next Rated Category that was won by Mavin Records star, Reekardo Banks.


Lil Kesh celebrated his 21st birthday last week Thursday with a brand new car and also dropped his maiden album under YBNL, which he called Young And Getting It (YAGI).

It was gathered that the album cover was designed by fellow label mate, Adekunle Gold, and pictures the rapper looking resplendent in colourful garbs and chains. Lil Kesh released this via Instagram.

With tracks like ‘Ibile’ and ‘Cause trouble’ which featured rappers Ycee and Wale, the anticipation to the album has been building up since he announced it was going to drop in March.

The rapper was scheduled to release this album in 2015, but postponed it. The album had been eagerly anticipated by many Nigerian music lovers, and it wasted no time rising up the charts.
